Order Information

Can I call in my order?

Absolutely. Please call 703-586-3265 and we will take your order and payment over the phone. If you reach voicemail, we are with another customer and will contact you asap.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, we would be happy to set up a time for you to either pick up your order curbside, or come in and browse the fabrics. You may pay at the time of pickup as well.

Do you sell any quilts?

From time-to-time we have vintage quilts available for sale.

Do you participate in quilt shows?

Yes we do. Mostly in the Colorado, Kansas, Kansas City, MO, Nebraska, Northern New Mexico areas.

Do you teach any classes?

Linda teaches group lessons at the local quilt shops several times a year and offers private lessons at $25/hour.

Do you have a brick and mortar store?

We are a home-based business and our customers visit the store often M-Saturday, 9-5.

How to Remove Sizing from New Fabric

How do I Remove Sizing from New Fabric

1) Combine 3 cups of warm water, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of hair conditioner (any type)
2) Stir to combine.
3) Fill washing machine, bathtub, or large bowl, just enough to cover fabric.
4) Add softener solution (from Step 1) to water and stir. Add the fabric and agitate with your hand enough to ensure all is immersed.
5) Soak overnight.
6) Wash fabric on permanent press with hot water using phosphate free detergent and commercial liquid softener. (I prefer fragrance free.)
7) Dry in electric dryer with a couple softener sheets for added measure.
8) Voila! The sizing/starch is removed, and the fabric yields a softer texture.

We accept Paypal, Visa, Master Card, Check, Cash, Gift Cards, or Credits. Also, we collect 7.9% sales tax for State of Colorado Sales in accordance with applicable laws.

International Orders

We are sorry but we no longer take International Orders.

Return & Cancellation Policy

Items ship in 1-3 business days.

Cancellations are accepted 'prior' to shipment of your order.

Fabric is cut to the customer's specifications is not returnable. All sales are final, with the exception of flawed fabric or if we sent the wrong item. This is rare, but if it does happen, please call us at 703-586-3265 or email Linda@LogCabinQuiltNSew.com and we will resolve the matter to your satisfaction.

Other products (ex. patterns, fat quarters, notions, etc.) are returnable within 30 days IF the product has not been used or opened. Again, please contact us if there is a problem with your order and we will work with you to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
