Culinary Corner
From tailgates to Thanksgiving, September starts the Fall season that we all love to celebrate with food! These appetizers are quick, easy and SO delish! You might want to make 2 pans because they go really fast!
Blue Cheese Biscuit Bites
Ingredients
- 1 can (10 oz) of refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 stick of butter
- 5 oz of blue cheese crumbles
- 9 x 9 or 8 x 8 square pan or a round pie plate
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Melt butter in the pan
- Sprinkle cheese crumbles over butter
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and arrange on top of blue cheese crumbles
- Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until top is golden brown
LONG-ARM QUILTING SERVICES
Currently, from the time your quilt is received, it will take 3-4 weeks for completion for E2E quilting services. Unfortunately, for health reasons I no longer accept custom orders. Please note, if you have a quilt that needs to be completed as a gift for Christmas, try to have it to me by November 1st. As always, I will do my very best to complete your quilt by Christmas, but if it arrives later than Nov 1st, I cannot make any guarantees.

TODAY’S TIPS, TRICKS & TECHNIQUES
Color Schemes – Choosing complimentary colors for your quilt projects can be troublesome at times. If you’re having trouble putting together fabrics for a quilt, try starting with one fabric pattern or print that you really love and then finding other prints that match the colors or coordinate. You don’t even have to use the original fabric in the quilt, it’s just a great way to inspire you to start. It’s also a great idea to lay out your quilt pieces before you sew them together. Randomizing the pieces can leave you with results you don’t especially like, so planning out the “randomization” beforehand makes it a little easier and usually turns out more scrappy in appearance.
